Hi there!
Hey people, I am a Unit Trust Consultant and I practise Financial Planning. I have being in this business since 2000. As my business involves meeting up with people from all walks of life, I will strive to deliver people's mid to long term financial goals. I also to a certain extend look at what I do as a journey that I and, you people, out there take to be financially free.
I have a small little passion; I love to cycle on mountain bikes. Whenever possible I have my son, Denzil Lim who does ride with me occasionally. By the way people, Denzil was instrumental in helping me set up my blog. Three cheers for him, yes Denzil, you are awesome son!
Moving along, I reckon that the main reason for this blog would be to do what I like best, it’s to share my thoughts and it is always my firm believe that sharing knowledge will then deliver these "man is not paid for what they know, but it’s for what they do with what they know"(quotation unknown). So in others words, the "man" I'm referring to are you and me, it’s merely what we do with what we know.
Next is a short note on some very important people, my career in financial planning with such passion is and will always be Deenia Kwong, the person who introduced, guided, mentor and most important a spouse who constantly assure me that "...it's short-term pain, for a long-term gain" (quotation Deenia Kwong). The other person is Lance Armstrong, a person whom I have never met in person. However this remarkable man's achievements in the arena of cycling (Tour de France) and also a personal battle with cancer that he has overcome said this, "pain is temporary, it may last a minute, or an hour, or a day, or a year, but eventually it will subside and something else will take its place. If I quit, however, it will lasts forever" (quotation Lance Armstrong). I believe that what Lance Armstrong is referring to when he said that pain will "...eventually subside and something else will take its place..", is that we all can be sure, as sure as the sun will raise each morning, something good will eventually takes its place. So people don't give up just yet in anything you are doing.
Last but not the least, look out for future postings and just subscribe to my blog. Cheers and catch you people soon.
